Highlights along the way

Loch Tay

The northern-side road links Killin and Kenmore along a long loch corridor, with changing water and hillside views.

Sma’ Glen

The return crosses a narrower Perthshire glen, contrasting with the lochside and town approaches earlier in the loop.

Before you set off

Allow breaks and fuel margin. Loch access and walking routes require separate parking; keep rural junctions and field entrances clear. Check current closures and conditions before travel. Estimated time excludes stops and live traffic. Points are through-road references, not parking. Optional town visits may require a separate detour.
