Brown Clee: Ditton Priors and the Hill Country Loop

Circle the Brown Clee country between Ditton Priors, the B4364 and the lanes through Stoke St Milborough and Abdon. This is a slow, intimate alternative to the main Clee Hills circuit, with wooded sections and changing views around the hill’s lower slopes.

Highlights along the way

Brown Clee

The loop uses public roads around the hill. Its summit is a separate walking destination, not part of the drive.

Before you set off

Several lanes are single track and can be muddy. Expect farm traffic and be prepared to give way or reverse to a passing place. Do not drive onto summit or estate tracks. Check current road closures, vehicle suitability and weather before travel. Driving time excludes stops and live traffic. The route follows through-roads; all visits off the line are independent optional detours.
