Highlights along the way

Bamburgh coast

The northern section reaches the coast around Bamburgh, where castle and beach visits can be planned separately from the road loop.

Craster approach

Rural links lead towards the coastal village area. Harbour and cliff-path visits need their own signed access and parking.

Before you set off

Coastal attractions and village centres need signed parking. Avoid detours down harbour access roads unless stopping deliberately. Check current closures and conditions before travel. Estimated time excludes stops and live traffic. Points are through-road references, not parking. Optional town visits may require a separate detour.
