Clent Hills, Romsley and Belbroughton Country Roads Loop
A short hill-country loop beside the western Black Country, climbing through Clent towards Romsley and returning through Belbroughton. The pleasure is in the wooded lanes and changing gradients rather than a drive to a hilltop car park.

Highlights along the way
Clent Hills
Wooded public lanes skirt the hills. The summit and Four Stones involve a separate walk.
Before you set off
Narrow roads, walkers, horses and blind bends require a relaxed pace. The hills are not suitable for through-driving on tracks; follow the public-road line only. Check current road closures, vehicle suitability and weather before travel. Driving time excludes stops and live traffic. The route follows through-roads; all visits off the line are independent optional detours.
