Wenlock Edge Drive
Take the B4371 east from Church Stretton towards Much Wenlock for a compact drive through the Shropshire countryside. This point-to-point route follows the road corridor beside Wenlock Edge, with the option to break the journey for a woodland walk at Presthope. Make it a short drive in its own right or leave extra time to explore at either end.

Church Stretton departure
Begin on the B4371 at the eastern side of Church Stretton. Arrange a lawful parking or meeting place separately if travelling together; the route start is a road junction.
Wenlock Edge
The limestone escarpment is known for woodland and geological interest. Enjoy the drive along its road corridor, or allow extra time for an on-foot visit using signed access points.
Presthope woodland stop
An optional break off the B4371: the National Trust lists a car park at Presthope for access to Wenlock Edge. Parking access and the exact turn-in still need checking; this draft does not divert into the car park.
Much Wenlock arrival
The drive ends at the B4371/A458 junction on the approach to Much Wenlock. Continue to suitable public parking separately if you want to explore the town.

Allow around 21 minutes for the drive, plus time for any stops. Start and finish points are road junctions, not parking or meeting places; arrange suitable lawful parking separately. Use designated parking for walks and photographs, and never stop on the carriageway. Woodland viewpoints require an on-foot visit and are not guaranteed views from the car. The optional Presthope stop is not included in the route geometry: confirm parking access and the turn-in before visiting. Check current road closures, restrictions and conditions before setting off.
