The wooded bends and village approaches require care, especially in wet or icy conditions. Town streets and any onward journey are separate choices; the route has no compulsory return section. Check current road closures, vehicle suitability and weather before travel. Driving time excludes stops and live traffic. The route follows through-roads; all visits off the line are independent optional detours.
